Organic Products At Your Doorsteps.
ITD Lacto & Agro Pvt. Ltd. has been fostering the culture of organic farming specifically Vedic farming which is based on 100% natural, organic materials for quite some time. We are working on increasing the land bank from 5 acres to furthermore to fulfill demand increases for our brand Organigrow products.
At the core, the Vedic lifestyle is about becoming self-sufficient. A portion of land in which to grow food, a few cows, and with this simple formula, one can solve all the necessities of life: food and shelter.
It is an urgent need in the current world situation because most food produced today is heavily loaded with pesticides, hormones, and other chemicals that are heavily toxic to humans and nature. On top of that, preservatives and other chemicals added to food sold in stores make store-bought food even more toxic.
Perfect Soil
Soil is the most important factor for any kind of farming endeavor. Because of this, most of our endeavors will focus on the quality of the soil. The better the soil, the easier to grow any food will be. Cows play an essential role in this area since their dung/poop (Which is plenty in the Farm) is the best source of organic matter and beneficial bacteria. Once you have “The perfect soil” (cow dung soil), farming becomes very easy. Of course, there will still be other challenges, like weather, pests, and so on, but healthy soil will make your plants naturally strong and resistant to challenges.
Why organic?
ORGANIC – Food that is grown and processed without use of synthetic chemicals, such as human-made pesticides and fertilizers, and does not contain genetically modified organisms.
Organic livestock raised for meat, eggs, and dairy products must be raised in living conditions accommodating their natural behaviors (such as the ability to graze on pasture) and fed organic feed and forage. They may not be given antibiotics, growth hormones, or any animal by-products.
Different from Others
We utilize cow dung, wastewater & urine, or our own cows on the farm as well as use a variety of methods to improve soil fertility with the following process:
1. Crop rotation,
2. Reduced tillage,
3. Cover cropping
4. Application of compost
By reducing soil tillage, the soil is not inverted and exposed to air; less carbon is lost to the atmosphere resulting in more soil organic carbon which results in a healthy and nutritious harvest.
